Students will complete the tables on pg. 98 of the Century 21 book.
·      Table 1
o   –Make the main title “ Famous Composers”
o   Secondary title should be 1756-1899
o   Sort the composers info in alphabetical order
o   Save as 34B-TBL1
·      Table 2
o   Main title –Top Ten Daily Newspapers
o   Secondary title- United States
o   Save as 34B-TBL2
·      Table 3
o   Main title—Top Baseball Movies
o   Secondary title- Fall 1999
o   Column headingsl-Rank, Movie, Year, and Percent of Votes
o   Don’t forget the 10th movie info in the left column
o   Add the source
o   Save as 34B-TBL#
·      Type the table in Activity 1 as shown on pg. 189
o   All rows should have a height of .5
o   Center the table vertically and horizontally
o   Save as WPS-ACT1
·      Finish any uncompleted work.

Complete Tables 2, 3, and 4 on pg. 97 in the Century 21 Book.

·        Table 2

o   Main title row height .5

o   Column headings .4

o   Data rows .3

o   Make Columns A and C 2 inches wide

o   Save as 33C-TBL2

·        Table 3

o   Make a table with the info in the book

o   The main heading should be “Wimbledon Singles Champions

o   1999-2003 for the secondary title

o   Women’s Champion, Year, and Men’s Champion for the three column headings

o   Save as 33C-TBL3

·        Table 4

o   Open Table 2 (33C-TBL2) and insert info in the book

o   Delete the year the author died

o   Change Column heading to Year Born

o   Sort info by Year Born in ascending order

o   Save the table as 33C-TBL4

o   Create a table with the proper number of columns and rows

o   Change the row height to .4

o   Follow directions in the book for other formatting

o   Save as 32B-TBL3

·        Table 4 pg. 95

o   Save as 32B-TBL4

·        Table 1 on pg. 96

o   Make formatting changes

o   Change row heights as listed in book

o   Save as 33C-TBL1

Complete any unfinished tables and be prepared to have checked for a grade.

o   Bold the main title, secondary title, and column headings

o   Center the column headings

o   Left align column A

o   Right align columns B & C

o   Center the table horizontally and vertically

·        Activity 1 pg. 89

o   Key the main title first In all caps

o   Double-space before inserting the table

o   Save as WP4ACT1

·        Activity 2 pg. 89

o   Open the table you created in Activity 1 and make changes

o   Save as WP4ACT2

·        Activity 3 pg. 90

o   Adjust the column widths so that the name of the sales representative fits on one line. Adjust other lines as needed

o   Save as WP4ACT3

·        Activity 4 pg. 90

o   Make formatting changes as listed in the directions in book
