Students will finish the report from Monday
Type table 3 on pg. 216  ( the one at the bottom of the page) Save as 70B-TBL3
 and type the report "Listen Up!: on pg. 223

  • Page margins should be 2 inch top, left, right, and bottom- 1 inch
  • Double space entire report. Font should be size 12 using Arial or Times New Roman.
  • Title page--centered horizontally and vertically with the title "Listen UP!," your name, and the date
  • Table of Contents--use Automatic table 2
  • Use the style Heading 2 for subheadings that you need for your table of contents
  • Put a watermark that says "Confidential" on your report
  • Put your last name right aligned in the header with the page number
  • Create a footer with "Unbound Report" left aligned and Intro to Business and Technology right aligned
  • Make a reference page and be sure to format with a hanging indent
  • Save as "Listen Up."

    2. Students will write a sentence with each word. Each word should be used as it applies to Leadership in the workplace. I prefer you write the sentences on paper and turn them in. Write neatly!
    3. Leadership Project-  you picked a leader. Make a powerpoint and be prepared to present to the class. Follow directions on the handout.
    4. Be sure you have finished your powerpoint and word document on your career project.

    Occupational Outlook Report
    Students will type a report on 3 careers they are interested in.
    The first paragraph should tell what is important to you in a career. (For ex., money, success, time with your family, etc.) You should also write about the strengths you possess.
    You will answer the questions on the handout.
    Use a Title Heading for Occupational Outlook Assignment
    Heading 1 for the 3 careers you choose
    Heading 2 for the questions
    You are to make a title page with the title horizontally and vertically centered.
    You will make a Table of Contents.

    After your report is completed, you will make a ppt. presentation on the career you are most interested in and will present to the class.
